There’s lots to do for the very young at Woodside.
On Sunday mornings, during the service there is a crèche for the youngest children (0-31⁄2 years) held in the Large Hall. And for the very slightly older (31⁄2-5 years), there is the Beginners group which meets in one of the rooms at the back of the Large Hall.
Please collect your children promptly at the end of the service.
On the first Sunday in the month children sit with their parents in the main church for the All-age service.
During the week
On Wednesday mornings (10-11am), Jackie Parsons hosts the TinyTalk group. Babies have a lot say – and because they can’t speak, they (and you) can often get frustrated. Parents and carers bring their babies to learn baby signing through nursery rhymes and playtime. Find out more about baby signing classes, phone Jackie on 07594 557 846 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Also check out the national TinyTalk web site www.tinytalk.co.uk
And on Friday mornings, from 10am-11.30am (term time only), our popular Parent and Toddler group meets in the Large Hall. Noisy? Yes, but full of fun for the youngsters and an opportunity for parents and carers to have a sit down and a natter. This group is very popular in our local community and is often working at full capacity, so please email Jo Scarse, email@example.com or phone 07910 021112 before turning up.
All our young people’s workers are CRB checked.
